This is a very unique vintage, hand sewn appliqued tapestry. There is no batting in between the hand cut pieces of denim, cotton and linen. It looks to be hand dyed fabric and each piece has been lovingly sewn by hand into this unique scene. There are a few areas of fraying due to age but these small areas do not detract from the folk art beauty of this piece. It could be used as a wall hanging, coverlet on a bed or as a table covering. It is truly one of a kind!
