61 1/2" height x 51" width x 2 3/4" depth (depth includes smaller inset tin frame)
This one of a kind frame (tin nailed on wood) was handmade (cut and painted) in Mexico in the 1940s. It was brought to LA in the 1960s. A Los Angeles Time 1966 newspaper was tucked inside as it originally held a mirror and still can! This gorgeous surround/frame can be used for artwork or other framed work can be set inside as well. It was also used to with a padded wood clad piece in velvet to hang jewelry on hooks. It's a very unique piece!
