1940s Denoyer Geppert Co Large Scale Metal American Military Floor Globe
This military , all metal globe developed by the Denoyer-Geppert Co for educational and wartime purposes. This scientific instrument was used for campaign planning and became an important element of military academies was a learning tool. It was designed without country/continent labels and could be written on with chalk.
This globe is in unrestored condition, no dents with its original Denoyer-Geppart Co label. There is some rust on the surface as one would expect for an unrestored metal globe of this age. The floor stand is heavy steel with a Victorian wrought iron base that was added later.
