Oil Painting from the set of Strange Angel of Aleister Crowley
This one of a kind, oil on canvas painting of Aleister Crowley was created for the CBS series Strange Angel. It is unsigned and the artist is unknown. Strange Angel starred Jack Raynor as Jack Parsons, one of the founders of the Jet Propulsion Laboratory and the Aerojet, who became a follower of cult leader Aleister Crowley. The drama, about rocketry pioneer and occultist Jack Parsons, ended its second season in July 2019. This screen used painting was shown in many scenes of Mr. Parson’s home with the most screen time shown in Season2, episode 5 when the painting is removed from Jack’s foyer. It is in its original wood frame and there is one ding to the top back of the frame (not visible from the front/side view) and the black back paper cover has been punched. Hanging hardware is attached and sturdy.
