Antique Victorian Carved Wood Pedestal or Plant Stand
This is a beautiful Victorian carved wood pedestal. These stands were often used as plant stands or pedestals for artwork. The wood appears to be tiger oak throughout. There is a small crack in the pedestal top but it is stable. These cracks can occur in oak due to moisture (from a plant) then over drying of the wood. It has lots of life left!
